The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce will hold its first annual Roast on March 31 at the Fred J Sigur Civic Center North Hall. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m. This year’s roastee will be Doris Voitier – St. Bernard Parish Schools Superintendent and 2007 recipient of the John F. Kennedy Profile and Courage Lamplighter Award. The evening will begin with dinner by Patton’s caterers, followed by special guests speaking on Ms. Voitier. A silent and live auction will also be a part of the evening.
