St. Bernard Parish Fire Chief Tommy Stone will share his beloved book, "The Little Fire Engine That Saved the City" by Dennis Smith, on Thursday, July 3 at 11:30 a.m.

Another week of fun at the library

There are some incredible examples of art and science going hand-inhand that have led to the creation of popular literary treasures. Eric Carle and Robert Sabuda and Lois Ehlert are a few of the masters of both word and/ or illustrations that will be featured during the St. Bernard Parish Library’s story craft program, Part Art. This free hour-long event will take place Tuesday, July 1 at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday, July 2 at 11:30 a.m. There is also an art to storytelling and no one demonstrates that better than St. Bernard Parish Fire Chief Tommy Stone when he shares his beloved book, The Little Fire Engine That Saved the City by Dennis Smith.
