Nunez instructor receives Excellence in Teaching Award

Lynn Irby, Associate Professor in Business & Technology, has been named the recipient of the 2014 Excellence in Teaching Lamarque Endowed Professorship. Three, other Nunez instructors were also nominated for excellence in teaching: Margaret Bader, Associate Professor of Sociology; Juliette Paul, Chair of the Humanities epartment, and Earl Wilson III, Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator for the EMT Program. Irby accepted the award at the College’s 2014 Commencement. She has a B.S. in Business Education from the University of New Orleans and has been teaching at Nunez Community College since 1997.
