Jack and Jill PlayersJack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of—wait, wait, wait!  That’s not right.   Jack and Jill went to St. Bernard to tell a tale or two.  Jack needed help and so did Jill and that’s where we come in!  Join the St. Bernard Parish Library as the Jack and Jill Players present their highly interactive Imagination Station program on Saturday, April 17.  This 45-minute program will start promptly at 10 a.m and will take place at the St. Bernard Council on Aging site at 8201 W. Judge Perez Dr.

Audience participation is encouraged as listeners enjoy sing-a-longs with famous songs and rhymes.  Library friends of all ages are invited to bring their imaginations as various popular fairy tale characters are brought to life.

Jennifer Harageones Patterson and Seth Trosclair combine their talents in the performances of the Jack and Jill Players.  They have worked together for several years in the New Orleans area as well as the North Shore.  Their performances include several theatrical productions such as “Fantasticks,” “Dearly Departed,” and “Pirates of Penzance.”  They stage productions for groups such as Playmakers, Covington Children’s Chorus, St. Tammany Arts Association, and C.A.S.T (Creative Arts of St. Tammany). This dynamic pair performed for guests of the St. Bernard Parish Library during the 2008 summer reading program.  Jennifer and Seth are an energetic team with a special gift of being able to create a quick rapport with audience members of all ages.

St. Bernard Parish Library is proud to be able to present this wonderful performance through the generosity of a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs.  For more information please call the library at 504-279-0448.
