To kick off the new year, the Joseph Davies Elementary Pep Squad performed on the court for the Hornets’ pre-game show. Joseph Davies’ parents, teachers, and friends proudly cheered on the girls as they danced to the popular song, “Firework!” They were all smiles as they fired up the crowd in the Hive for the fun-filled Hornets vs. Magic game. “We feel like stars!” one pep squad member proclaimed after the exciting performance. A few girls even had the opportunity to take pictures with the Honeybees after the game. The pep squad truly represented, “respectful, responsible, positive and safe,” Davies Pelicans! Great job, girls!
