St. Bernard Parish Government (SBPG) will continue soliciting interest in available Louisiana Land Trust (LLT) Properties through July 13, 2012. There are currently over 2,400 available LLT properties in St. Bernard Parish and SBPG will be working in conjunction with LLT to sell available properties as early as August 2012. Unlike properties sold via the Lot Next Door program, properties available through the upcoming LLT sales program will be sold as free-standing lots eligible for redevelopment.

A complete list of available LLT properties can be found at www.sbpg.net. Click on the “St. Bernard Lot Sales Program” icon on the right sidebar in order to search the complete list. You may contact either Cliff Zeairs (czeairs@sbpg.net) or Ray Doran (rdoran@sbpg.net) by email or phone (504-355-4435) in order to express interest in up to four (4) LLT properties. SBPG will accept statements of interest via email or phone through the close of business (5pm) on Friday July 13, 2012. You must include your name, address, phone number and the complete address of each LLT property you are interested in when submitting a statement of interest to SBPG.

SBPG will compile a list of LLT properties for which interest has been expressed by the established deadline, and will subsequently begin a competitive bidding process for each property on the list. LLT properties that do not make the list will be set aside for future sale or will be utilized as green space.
