Clifford Benedict Casenza entered into God's loving grace on Thursday, May 22, 2014. Born on March 21, 1928 in New Orleans, LA and a resident of St. Bernard, LA until 2005. Clifford then resided in Kenner, LA until his passing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Elizabeth Eber Casenza, his loving daughter Lisa Casenza O'Brien, his parents Thomas A. and Marie A. Casenza. Also, preceded in death by his four brothers Louis, Joseph, Frank, Thomas and two sisters Angela C. Lindstedt and Estelle Couste Kissinger. Survivors include his son Stephen J. (Susan), four grandchildren Sarah M. and Emily R. Casenza and Rachel A. and Brant J. O'Brien. Also, survived by his nieces, nephews and his dearest friends. He served in The United States Navy during World War II. Clifford worked as a salesman for Sony Products for many years and is retired from Gray Line of New Orleans Inc. where he worked as sales associate selling tours. Clifford will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to express a special thanks and appreciation to those who provided care, prayers and support over the past few months. The staff of Southeast Home Health Care, St. Joseph Hospice, Hazel Parker and an extra special thanks to Wesley Sykes, without your constant support, care and love the family would have been at a loss. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Saint Phillip Neri, 6500 Kawanee Ave., Metairie, LA, on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until service time. Followed by interment at St. Vincent de Paul #3, New Orleans, LA. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
