Sandy "Sandra" Ann Vullo Guidry

Sandy "Sandra" Ann Vullo Guidry was lifted up into the arms of the Lord on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the age of 74. She was the cherished wife of the late Lloyd James Guidry. Loving mother of Tammie G. Oggs (Ted), Kim G. Sutterfield (Rick) and the late Cynthia Ann Guidry. Daughter of the late Joseph Vullo and daughter of the late Sarah Lorio Vullo. Sister of Loretto Vullo (Joy), Alex Vullo (Terry), Sullivan Vullo (Janet), Anthony Vullo (Joycelyn) and a cousin who is as close as any sister, Mary "Marie" Parent. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her six grandchildren, Richard L. Guidry (Amy), Johnathan James Oggs, Chantelle Lynn Oggs, Shane Lloyd Ketner, Ashlee Barca Watso (Andrew) and Amanda Barca Domingue (Hunter) and nine great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws and dear friends. Although we will miss her deeply, we are rejoicing, knowing Sandy has finally made her way to sweet Beulah Land. A special thanks to Pontchartrain Healthcare in Mandeville, LA for all of their love, support, wonderful care and compassion. Also to Community Hospice for making her journey to Heaven peaceful. Relatives, friends, members of First Pentecostal Church of New Orleans and Pinedale Pentecostal Church of Ponchatoula were invited to attend a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, on Thursday, April 24, 2014 followed by a celebration of her life. She was laid to rest next to her beloved daughter and husband in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. To view and sign the family guestbook, please visit www.stbernardmemorial.com
