OLPS flag football season a success

Our Lady of Prompt Succor School’s senior flag football team had a successful season. The team, coached by Johnny Balli and Travis Deano, finished the season first in district play, making it to the Final Four in citywide competition. The team’s record was 9-2-1.

Members of Prompt Succor’s senior flag football team are: Dallin Cook, Gavin Chimento, Teddy Treitler, John Dising, Johnny Scheuermann, Lance Resendez, Austin Ruiz and Connor Meyers.

Teddy Treitler was named the team’s most valuable player. The coach’s award, presented to the team member who exhibits good sportsmanship, leadership, dedication and athletic ability, went to Johnny Scheuermann.

Prompt Succor’s junior flag football team also worked hard this season for coaches Balli and Deano.

Members of Prompt Succor junior flag football team are: Michael Vogt, Hayden Manuel, Stephen Gurtner, Ethan Dupas, Zachary Thomas, Derrick Sandrock, Michael Ludwig, Gavin Schulz, Ethan Williams and Evan LeSage.

Gavin Schulz was named the team’s most valuable player, and the coach’s award went to Michael Ludwig.
