The ribbon cutting ceremony for the St. Bernard Tourism Center took place on May 20 in the Aycock Barn. Attending the ceremony were, from left, State Rep. Reed Henderson, Tourist Commission Board Member Alberta Lewis, Tourist Commission Chairman Claire Henderson, Tourism Director Elizabeth “Gidget” McDougall, St. Bernard Parish President Craig Taffaro, Seafood and Farmers Market Manager Ashley Proze, Tourism Coordinator Faith Moran, Amanda Hardesty, Assistant to the Manager for the Seafood and Farmers Market; Tourist Commission Board Member Gayle Buckley and Judge Robert Buckley.
